Since the COVID years, we now run our core teaching and training programmes remotely via Zoom. We do however offer pastors and church leaders the opportunity of hosting training courses in their local church based on a negotiated needs-based bespoke design.

Dr Femi Olowo

Qualifications:

MA (Theology) from Sheffield University, Master of Ministry in Research from University of Wales Bangor, PGCE in teaching religion from Canterbury Christ Church University, Certificate in the Study of Judaism from Harvard University and Certificate in World Religions from Oxford University. 

​

Experience:

Principal of South London Christian College (1991-2012). Founder and Overseer of Jubilee International Churches (1992-2015). Ministered across Europe, Asia and Africa. Led some tours to Israel. Published several Christian titles. Specialities: Pentecostal Theology and Global Missions.

Dr Meyer J van Rensburg

Qualifications:

Ministerial Diploma from Rhema Bible Training Centre, Randburg, South Africa, City & Guilds Certificate in Further Education Teaching, MTh from University of Bangor, Wales.

​

Experience:

Dean of several Bible colleges in South Africa and Bristol, and then South London Christian College. Background as radio presenter for Christian programmes for South Africa Broadcasting Corporation (SABC). Prolific Christian author. Specialities: The Tabernacle and the Covenants of God.

Rev Alex George

Qualifications:

BA degree in Christian Doctrine and English.

Experience:

Pastor of Cornerstone Church in Bristol, Police Chaplain, and speaks at the Christian Unions in University of West England and Bristol. Involved with ‘Prayer for Bristol’. Involved in missions to India, background with YWAM, has pastored in London and taught at South London Christian College.

Rev Mary Burt

Qualifications:

Internationally respected prophetic conference and seminar speaker. Ordained by Dr Sharon Stone of CI Europe/Prophetic Voice, as well as by Jubilee International Ministers Association (JIMA).

​

Experience:

Originally from the USA, now based in North Wales, operates through Word and Spirit International Ministries. She has been on many missions such as with Dr Femi Olowo to Ghana, the Gambia and Zambia. Married to Joseph Burt, whose father was a preacher and a contemporary of the great Smith

Pastor Jason Shields

Qualifications:

BSc from University of Greenwich, MTh from Kings College, University of London. Currently engaged in PhD research into Black Theology, Race and Social Justice.

Experience:

Senior Trainer at Power the Fight. 

Pastor at Kings Church, Catford, London (2017-2022), former bank manager at RBS NatWest. Speaks at Black Theology conferences. Experience of missions into Asia. Specialist research topics: Black Theology, Race and Social Justice, etc.

Pastor Olu Akinkunmi 

Qualifications:

Diploma in Biblical Theology from South London Christian College.

Experience:

Assistant Pastor in West London (12 years). Founder and Pastor of Higher Life Christian Centre, Harlow, Essex. Leads inspiring seminars for singles and pre-marriage. Passion for ensuring the Gospel is presented in relevant format to meet the needs of the modern mindset and multicultural context.

Preaching and Training Seminars

As part of his itinerant ministry, Dr Femi continues to be available to churches to preach and conduct bespoke training seminars for leaders, workers and Christians.  

 

Charities and Ordination

GCI offers a church and church charity registration service, following authorisation by the Charity Commission. The ministry also offers ordination to those with a genuine calling into pastoral ministry.
